Tuesday 15th Jan – Newcastle transfer gossip round up

Hatem Ben Arfa dreams of Paris and the Newcastle midfielder has reportedly told the Sun that he would relish a chance to play for Paris St. Germain but only in the summer after he has helped Newcastle avoid relegation.

After losing Demba Ba, Newcastle are set for another striker snub after Loic Remy was stolen from under their noses by Queens Park Rangers as the Daily Mail reports that QPR have met the £8 million valuation of the player and have been given permission to talk to him. The report also suggests that Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila is also set for a move in the next 24 hours.

Newcastle defender Fabricio Coloccini wants a return to Argentina for family reasons but manager Alan Pardew believes the player could be convinced to stay for the love showered on him by the Toon Army. The Chronicle reports that Coloccini is set for talks with Pardew this week who is keen to hold onto his captain amidst interest from Argentine club San Lorenzo.
