Blackburn Rovers are a team that needs to bring in new players and not sell and so the report from The Daily Mirror that Tottenham are after their £8 Million rated defender Chris Samba, will not make happy reading for their disgruntled fans.
Tottenham are looking to strengthen their back line, this is never more obvious when they lose Ledley King so often and with the likes of Gary Cahill, once a target for Spurs now seemingly set for Chelsea they have apparently turned their attentions to Blackburn’s huge centre back Samba.
Blackburn’s under fire boss Steve Kean has been looking to bring in new players and not be forced to sell, but with the owners that Blackburn have that looks unlikely, especially if the news that the clubs finances are in disarray.
If the article in The Daily Mirror is anywhere near truthful then one can only imagine what the Blackburn fans response will be, they are not exactly shy is showing their displeasure.
