Theo Walcott is one of a number of Arsenal players whose contract is up in the next 18 months at the Emirates, but has yet no new deal has been offered though he has admitted he is willing to discuss a new contract.
Walcott, 22, said, “I will listen to what Arsenal have to say. Hopefully we will sit down with the club soon and talk things over.”
Walcott has been in the news a lot lately mainly due to his inconsistent performances for Arsenal, but there has been increased speculation in recent weeks linking him with a move to Italian giants Juventus in January.
Theo Walcott is a bit like Marmite to the Arsenal supporters. They either love him or hate him it seems. He certainly has the skills, talent and pace to succeed, but time and time again he flatters to deceive, and manager Arsene Wenger is coming under increasing pressure to drop him and replace him with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
