Various UK media sources report Tottenham Russian international forward Pavlyuchenko had revealed his dreaming of playing for Man Utd. Apparently he had told the Russian newspaper Gazeta: “It would be wrong not to dream about this.”
However, and before anyone compares the Russian to his Bulgarian processor Dimitar Berbatov, the Sun brings to attention that Pavlyuchenko had described Berbatov as “an arrogant snob”.
“I heard tales Berbatov was an arrogant snob who, after training, would just throw his dirty boots to the man who takes care of our footwear saying, ‘Clean them for me!’
“No one likes such people. Still, he is now playing for Manchester United.”
“Robbie Keane returned to Spurs as if he never left the club.
“It’s evident that he’s a man of authority inside the team which is good for us.
"He was always liked as far as I can judge but if Berbatov returned, it would be taken quite differently.”
