The Spanish teenage sensation Jesus Fernandez (known as Suso) is reported today to be prepared to reject a move to the Spanish giants Barcelona in favour of joining Rafael Benitez at Liverpool.
Suso is currently at Cadiz and has received an offer from Barcelona, but todays Daily Mirror says that his advisors think his development would be better helped by joining the youth academy at Anfield.
The yougster is an attacking midfielder and has been favourably compared to a young Cesc Fabregas, who was poached by Arsene Wenger from Barcelona as a teenager.
The Mirror amusingly announced this story under the headline “Rafa plans to talk to Jesus!”
