Russian giants to bid £25million for Man Utd star

The newly-rich Russian giants Anzhi Makhachkala have revealed that they are going to make a shock £25million to take The Man United captain Nemanja Vidic to head their star-studded team.

Their new Russian billionaire owner, Suleyman Kerimou, who is reported to be worth £5 billion, stunned the world recently when he persuaded Samuel Eto’o to join him and has made the Cameroonian the highest paid footballer in the world earning £300,000 a week.

Vidic would expect to be given the same sort of incentive to join his Anzhi revolution if he decided to move to Russia, and with Alex Ferguson fully stocked with his new generation of defenders the Scottish manager may decide to cash in on the 29 year-old who is approaching his final years at the club.

Both Vidic and his usual partner at Man Utd Rio Ferdinand were both injured recently and their places were adequately filled by the new men on the block. Alex Ferguson has warned them that they will not automatically get their places back once fit.

Fergie said: “Rio and Nemanja are aware of the abilities of the young players. There is no question about that.

“When they are both fit, or one of them is, I will have a decision to make.”

Perhaps Vidic may prefer to move on to Anzhi where he would be guaranteed to play every week?

Yea I can see Vidic wanting to leave man united where he is team captain, playing in the Prem League, and competing in the champions league final almost every year to go and play in the Russian league. If Vidic wanted to play for money he could of went to Madrid in either of the last 3 seasons, We had 2 Fit subs in defense for the match at the weekend, but sure lets sell the club captain that will help. Manu are not Arsenal,
