There have been many rumours saying that Frank Rijkaard is one of the favourites to take over from Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge. According to reports Roman Abramovich is certain to replace Ancelotti this summer, and it has been suggested that Rijkaard and Marco Van Basten could make the “dream team” to take Chelsea back to the top of the Premier League.
Rijkaard’s agent Perry Overeem has told the media that he is now ready to return to management, and is keen on working in the England, despite turning down the chance to work at Newcastle earlier this season.

Overeem said: “He left Galatasaray in November and since then he has had the possibility of other jobs, including in the Premier League.
“It was a big club, but it wasn’t the right team at the right time.
“Now Frank is ready to take another job and that may as well be in the Premier League.”
He said: “As manager of Barcelona he has played against English clubs in the Champions League. Everyone knows the Premier League. Not having working there is not that big an issue.”
So it is clear that if Abramovich feels that Rijkaard is the right man for the job, he won’t have any trouble persuading him to come to Stamford Bridge.

Of course he is! He’s unemployed, failed at Galatasary, and would be paid millions for failing again. Blimey, even I could be interested in the Chelsea job -and I am employed. Nonsense story!
