Speaking after yesterday’s game against Aston Villa, Tottenham manager bemoaned his teams lack of luck but also had an interesting one liner to throw out which could have only been aimed at Arsenal.
Speaking after the game Redknapp said
“Every time we pulled the trigger it seemed to take a deflection or hit somebody, but overall I thought we were terrific.
“It’s going to be tight for fourth place, it’s going to go all the way.
“Liverpool are in good form, it’s one defeat in 12 games for us, so we’ve been in great form, Manchester City are going to be right there and so are Villa.
“There are four teams battling for that fourth spot and maybe even third, who knows? If somebody has a run, anything could happen.”
It’s the last line of those comments that shows what Redknapp is really thinking.
When he refers to third place he can only be referring to Arsenal and the mere fact that he even mentions that positions shows that he doubts very much that Arsenal will continue to fight for the title and that in fact they could end up losing third spot.
He also has a good point, if Arsenal were to lose today and then against Liverpool arsenal could find themselves dragged back in to chasing pack and the battle for two Champions League spots between 5 teams could be on.
Obviously Arsenal could stuff those words and many others down peoples throats of they were to grab a shock win at Chelsea today.

Ha ha ha,
why this guy is not worried about his own dull & bad team.
He should mind his business.
For me he is the coach of the WORST team of this univ.
I love to see them Lose.
Shut up do something on ground and them give these statements…
Till then keep ur mind shut.
does anyone remember all of the sh*t talking this team was doing before our last encounter?
I believe they stated they had more depth than us and our injury ravaged kicked the living piss out of them. They really need to stop making themselves look bad.
