Nicolas Anelka has had a tough time of it in China since his arrival there from Chelsea last season and he has been looking for a way out ever since, but he may have found his solution because it has emerged that Queens Park Rangers have entered the race to acquire his services this coming January.
The Frenchman had a fall out with his former employers Chelsea only twelve months ago and decided to head over to the Far east to collect one more lucrative contract before he hangs up his boots. So he agreed to join Shanghai Shenhua on a two year contract worth an estimated £250,000 per week, But it has not worked out and he has become disillusioned with life in China and plans to get out as soon as he can, with the Premier League his preferred destination.
Liverpool, West Ham and now QPR are all expected to offer the striker some kind of deal; though they will be un-willing to offer him the kind of money he was getting while playing for Shenhua.
All three clubs need to add more fire-power to their line-up and believe that his experience and class would be a good addition to their squad.
