The managerless Portsmouth are still active in the transfer market it seems, according to this report from the Sunday Mirror: Portsmouth are making a stunning £7million bid for Olympiacos’s Argentina midfielder Fernando Belluschi – despite not having a manager or an owner.
The offer has been put in with the Greek giants by super-agent Pini Zahavi, who looks after the player and is also close to Pompey’s prospective buyer Sulaiman Al-Fahim.
However, there will be some interest in the background to the transfer as Olympiacos only own 50 per cent of the 26-yearold international and there could be third-party issues to interest the Premier League.
Its all up in the air at Portsmouth. How come it is taking so long for the sale to go through?
