The West Ham captain Lucas Neill is out of contract this summer, and although the Hammers want him to stay, he refuses to accept a cut in wages.
It was widely thought that Neill would move to Everton to play alongside his friend and countryman Tim Cahill, but now the Greek giants Olympiakos have decided to make Neill an offer as well.
The Greek League and Cup winners have a great record in Europe and currently have Sebastian Leto, from Liverpool, and Matt Derbyshire, from Blackburn, on loan to them, but otherwise have no other players from the Premier League.
