The French Football League have ratified the transfer of Hatem Ben Arfa from Lyon to Marseille at last. After a three hour meeting all sides decided to agree the deal and allow Ben Arfa to remain in Marseille, and OM president Pape Diouf confirmed it.

The want-away Bayern Munich misfit Lukas Podolski wants to go back to Cologne, the club he started at, despite having offers from big clubs all over Europe after his brilliant displays at the Euro2008 tournament.
