There have been numerous rumours lately that Marouane Fellaini would be the next star to leave Goodison Park, but his manager David Moyes is confident that the Belgian midfielder will be signing a contract extension with Everton very shortly.
Despite being an Everton player for the last three seasons, Fellaini is just 23 and Moyes is ecpecting that his record signing will stay a fans favourite for many years to come. “I think it is very close to getting done,” Moyes said. “I think the chairman and the chief executive have been working on it for a while.
“I’ve been waiting on the good news and hopefully it’s not too far away. He has been a really good player for us over the last few seasons and if we can keep him it will be really good.”
So it sounds like it is not totally certain yet that Fellaini will sign, but Moyes is not the type of manager that misleads the press, so if he thinks good news is imminent, then it probably is…….

That’ll be great news if all comes to fruition, I think he’s a great player whose work rate is phenominal maybe give the ball away from time to time but all in all he’s a top player. Don’t understand those who don’t, sorry… can’t see what he does for us… COYB!
