Man Utd to have another go at landing their number big target

Manchester United will renew their interest in Wesley Sneijder in the summer and its believed that the Dutch-man will push for a move.

One of the longest running transfer saga’s in the summer failed to see Sneijder move to Manchester United and instead Manager Sir Alex Ferguson decided to employ Tom Cleverley in the role however the English midfielder has found his come-back from injury tough and Ferguson will look towards Sneijder for more experience.

Reports in Italy are suggesting that Sneijder is becoming increasingly frustrated at Inter Milan’s recent form and some in Italy are commenting on the bad relationship between new coach Claudio Ranieri and the Dutch play-maker and Manchester United are more than happy to step in and sign the 27-year-old.

With a transfer break-down in the summer, Manchester United fans would welcome a renewed approach for the Dutch-man however Sneijder would have to lower his wage demands which were reported to be the sticking point between the players representatives and club.

1stly, may we have a source for this “SCOOP”? Oh, there’s none? I thought so too. Baseless and obvious speculation. In any case, Utd’s damage is already done. They will have lost the league title and kicked out of the CL pretty early. With a squad this ordinary, it’s a miracle they actually won the league last season. SAF, it seems, painfully, after 25 long and successful years, has lost it. Both in the transfer market as well as on-pitch tactics-wise. If he ( assuming he’s still there ) doesn’t buy any decent midfielder and right back in January, the season may really end with great humiliation. Don’t know which is more alarming: losing 1-6 to City at home or winning 1-0 against S’land at home.

Well done John string, another armchair supporter who apparently knows more about the game then ferguson, what is it exactly you do for a living??
You haven’t a clue what is going on in the club, it is absolutely pathetic that people like yourself are questioning ferguson at this point, I’m not purely backing him on his overwhelming record, but how can someone be so naive and stupid to suggest that a manager who won the league title and got to the CL final last season has lost it. Now grow up and actually try and show a small bit if loyalty, or else just piss off to the blue half and join those mercs

Fergie should bring back Djemba Djemba instead. He will be cheaper and not much wages.

wow john tring for the best part of 19 years teaching people not to write united off at almost any time in the season and still people like you keep making the mistake… fool you once…fool you 19 times

i dont see sneijder coming to man utd. Fergi said he’ll leave a good squad when he retires. Wesley will be 30+ by the time he fergi’s gone! It wont make sense for the new coach it will instead be a liability with high wages.
