The prolonged spat between the Man City striker Carlos Tevez and Roberto Mancini looks like it is going to be extended, maybe even as far as the January transfer window.
Mancini maintains that Tevez refused to play against Bayern Munich, but the Argentinian star denies it completely, and is even demanding a full aopology from Mancini!
Most pundits are saying that, without any reliable witnesses, it is simply Mancini’s word against Tevez’s, but the Eastlands club has announced that they believe their is enough evidence to charge their ex-captain with “Breach of Contract” when he returns to the club today.
Man City issued a statement which said: “The club has now reached a stage in its investigation where it has concluded that there is a case for Carlos Tevez to answer of alleged breaches of contract.”
Mancini is nearly certain to consign Tevez to train with the reserves if they can’t suspend him further while investigations continue, but it seems like both sides are going to fight all the way.

The Mirror has printed this expected timetable of upcoming events in the appeal process for Tevez:
STAGE 1 – Faces a disciplinary panel. This is expected to take up to two weeks to put in place, hear evidence and come to a conclusion.
STAGE 2 – Appeal to board. If found guilty he will appeal the decision, a process that is expected to take a fortnight.
STAGE 3 – Appeal to Premier League. As a last resort he is able to take his case to the Premier League, with a hearing unlikely before the end of December.
So it is going to continue for at least another couple of months by the looks of it, but will it create an atmosphere at the club that could affect the team on the pitch?
