Now add to that the fact that they are motivated to break into the top 4 after Sevilla had forfeited all points to Espanyol last night, and add the fact Atletico played in Portugal last Thursday where they earned a 2-2 draw to Sporting Lisbon that took them through to the last 8 in the Europa league and you get a home winner for sure.
Now could you please explain why you still can get Mallorca at odds above evens? Oh, I forgot to mention Agueroi will be suspended, and Simao too.
Finally, Atletico are 0-2-2 at Mallorca from their last 4 visits, and have not even scored in either of the last 3, and they suck on the travel on the domestic scene, having drawn at Zaragoza last, and lost to Almeria before that. They even lost to Racing in the Cup (although they got through on aggregate).
In effect, this is an equivalent to –say- Man City playing hosts to Fulham, with the exception you will never get those odds on Man City to beat Fulham at Eastlands, although Mallorca do have a much better home record than the Citizens. I rest my case.
