Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has declared his wish to leave Arsenal if his chances of gaining a regular starting position don’t improve soon. Talking to the Sun, he said: “If my situation doesn’t change I’ll consider asking for a move”.
Fellow Pole Wojciech Szczęsny is his, and arguably only, contender for a starting place at the Emirates, but the competition doesn’t end there with the duo also fighting over a place in the national side. Although Fabianski seems to be winning the tussle in the national squad, he cannot deny the threat that Szczęsny is posing to his place: “If I want to go to Euro 2012, the only way I can persuade the coach to take me is by playing well on a regular basis”.

Along with Alex Song and Robin Van Persie, Wojciech Szczęsny has been one of the few real outstanding performers for Arsenal. Fabianski has played very well for the Gunners in the past, such his double save against Wigan way back in 2008 which was described as one of the best stops ever made at the Emirates Stadium.
Unfortunately, though, form like this has only been seen in mere glimpses whereas countryman Szczęsny has shown signs of something special almost every week. The risk in selling him, though, would be that we would only be left with two goalkeepers (Szczęsny and Mannone) in the first team – with Almunia’s permanent exit looking imminent – meaning that James Shea would probably be the next young ‘keeper to be called upon.
Would this be feasible or does Wenger need to buy another goalkeeper to replace Fabianski if such a departure does materialise?

if Fabianski want to go please nobody should stop him so be it,though he has tried his best, but we don’t want any school boy error in our current situation, how does he expect AW to bench Szczesny for him even Vito is better than him, incase of his departure we have Szcszesny,Mannone and Shea but let Wenger add one another quality goal keeper to these three,Fabianski bye bye to U in advance!

yeah very true, even though Bacary S. runs his ass of and eventually breaks his leg, i am sure that does not count.
what a load of crap.
and to wright an article about fabianski, i mean come on, u cant even compare him. he is doing so well as a sub for szczesny.
Threatens??? This is a dream come true!!
