Does it matter if Rafa comes in for him. I bet both scouting system saw Ronaldo even if he was offered to Liverpool before he joined us. Remember united have/had some sort of partnership with Sporting Lisbon and they must have been recomended him same time as Liverpool. Alexis Sanchez is a great prospect and all the top teams in the world probably know about him not just United and Liverpool. What a pathetic topic of who steals targets. United have done it to Liverpool and I bet Liverpool have done it to united. I find it humurious that Liverpool fans have to be insulting to united fans on players they missed out on.

Alexis Sanchez is a fantastic prospect, any fool can see that, the fact that united have been looking at him for a while is a good indication of just how good he really is. Benitez can cry and throw his toys out of the pram all he wants but realistically YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY or clout to compete with Sir Alex. You should be more worried about keeping your best assets than upping the price of a player, because you won’t get him to replace Alonso. It doesn’t matter though, come the new season and your old son Owen will be scoring against you and we will be lifting the biggest prize in English football once again, something Owen never did with you lot. However worrying it is to see a scouser wear united red, there’s nothing better than watching a scouser wearing united red score against you lot…. doubled up by the curly haired Brazilian boys that your so upset about! Don’t you fools think that top clubs like Manure, Liverpool Arrrss, Chelski have a decent scounting system and know who the best young players are around the world. Problem is no one team can sign the lot of them. Who heard of Alonso before Liverpool signed him. Now Madrid want him for 15 mill more than liverpool paid for him. Same as a number of Liverpool players. Manure and Chelski normally buy the fnished article when it comes to players. Aprt from the home grown and one offs like Roanldo Manure have players that you would have heard about prior to joining Manure. But all the top clubs buy or try to buy the top tallent. Thats what makes them the top clubs.

Liverpool was offered Cristiano Ronaldo by Sporting the season before for just 6m pounds, but we don’t want him (probably because his diving ways doesn’t suit our club). Man U paid twice the price for him the year after. That’s beside the point. The point is Man U have been stealing players from Liverpool’s target list for years. 1996, we made a bid for Poborsky after the Euros and immediately Ferguson snapped him up. We almost lost Kewell when Ferguson made a last minute attempt to take him. Rafa made an official bid for Vidic only to have Ferguson stealing him with a higher offer. My point is, Man U have been relying on other clubs’ scouting system for years. Their own scouting system sux, come on, those who are good either came from the now-incompetent Man U youth system or already made a reputation before coming to the club. Other players just came to Man U so that Ferguson can enjoy the look of his rivals’ faces when he denies them the chance to sign these players. Stop deceiving yourself that Fergie scouted Rooney when he’s 9. If he is that good, he wouldn’t have been in the Everton first team, become famous, entered the National team and THEN sign for Man U. Perhaps you read and believe whatever you saw on the net as well!
