It is being reported this morning that Juventus are monitoring the contract talks between Theo Walcott and Arsenal as the winger enters the last 18 months of his deal at the Emirates.
There have been constant rumours linking Walcott with a move to Juventus lately and Talksport report today that the Juventus manager Antonio Conte is preparing the way for Arsenal and England star to come to Serie A next summer.
Corriere dello Sport in Italy reports that there has already been contact made with Walcott’s representatives, but there will no concrete talks until it is clear that Juventus will reach the Champions League next season.
But Walcott’s agent Colin Gordon categorically denied that he had spoken to the Italians, but he refused to confirm that Walcott would sign a new contract at Arsenal either: “Juventus have never called us.” Gordon said.
“We have not received calls from Italy recently. We’ll see. I don’t know what will happen.”
Thomas Vermaelen confirmed that he is signing a contract extension yesterday, but there has been no indication at all from Arsenal regarding the Walcott situation.
