The protracted transfer of the Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona is still not finalised, according to Pep Guardiola, despite all his future team-mates congratulating him on his arrival.
Arsene Wenger was intending to announce the departure of Fabregas and the arrival of Jadson on Friday, but it seems that not all the paperwork is yet in order.

Guardiola said last night: “Cesc is still an Arsenal player. When I want to know the latest on the matter I don’t look at the tweets of Pique and Puyol. I speak to the directors and they tell me that matters are very advanced but some papers unsigned.”
Perhaps Wenger is trying to leave the official announcement until the Jadson arrival is confirmed, but Barcelona seem to be certain that he will be unveiled at the Nou Camp imminently.
Arsenal fans will be praying that Wenger has some good news to tell them when he finally breaks the bad….
