The Man Utd manager Alex Ferguson saw his team get battered by Blackpool in the first half of last nights game at Bloomfield Road, and only had praise for the Seasider’s captain Charlie Adam, who is the subject of much transfer talk this week.
The Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has been reported as offering £5m for Adam, but Ian Holloway reckons that the Reds should pay at least £10m to take Adam to Anfield.
After seeing his Man Utd team over-run by Blackpool, Ferguson made a point of praising the Liverpool target for his contribution to Blackpool’s first-half superiority.
Ferguson said: “In the first half we were battered and couldn’t handle Charlie Adam – his corner kicks are worth £10m. We were terrible, but they just never give in.
“We were all over the place and maybe we were too confident. But I know the game’s never done in situations like this – you know at some point we’re going to do something.
“Ryan Giggs made a tremendous difference and we started to penetrate. I think we were deserved winners in the end.”

So United now extend their lead at the top of the Premiership, and they are looking good to bring the title back to Old Trafford, but could Adam’s performance last night persuaded the Man Utd manager to outbid Liverpool for the Blackpool captain?

The plain facts are that FUNGUSFACE will do anything in his power to thwart any possible LFC progress – he has been doing it for over 20yrs.Going over the top of LFC’s bids for players,even when he did’n't particularly want or need them himself ! The comments he has made in the past few days are typical of him ! ‘VERY ANTI LFC’ ,and still afraid that LIVERPOOL may make a comeback! His hatred for LFC is well documented! I doubt very much if any other manager would suggest ‘that it is the wrong time for a particular player to transfer to another club’! OR suggest what a particular player’s ‘transfer fee should be’ when it’s nothing to do with him! obviously I am a LFC fan ! but I hold nothing against Man U as a club! But Fungusface has made a lot of enemies For them !
Ferguson ‘interfering’ in Liverpool’s business with his ‘mischievous’ (I could use a much-stronger-word-than-that but you wouldn’t print-it!) comments about Charley Adam, (LFC interested in ADAM) I hope every time that M.U, express-an-interest, or begin negotiations to buy ANY player K Dalgleish will go-public and declare ‘that-player’ to be worth ‘treble’ what Ferguson is suggesting! … God, I loathe that smirking ++t Ferguson, with a vengeance’

Love it. What you liverpool fans seem to have forgotten is that KD put in a bid for CA that WAS WELL BELOW HIS VALUE. This has been expressed by the entire Blackpool staff.
If Utd bid £5m for a player Liverpool had shown interest in, say Suarez, then the whole of Liverpool would AND SHOULD be saying the same thing.
High praise for ANY player when SAF says his value is more than others seem to think.
Personally, I cant see him at Liverpool anyway. Not now you have botched the first round of transfer negotiations.

SAF is envious of LFC’s history and never leaves a stone unturned to besmirch the club. He may have had the upper hand in the match at Old Trafford in the leaque and has won solely on the referee in the FA Cup tie. On the return league match we’re gonna end his team’s invincibility and will prevent him winning the title. Everytime LFC beat Manure, they go down to other teams in the League and Champions’ League as well. We’ll have the last laugh. Mark my words
