The Man Utd boss Alex Ferguson is not happy with Kenny Daglish’s team at Liverpool, and has accused them of leaking information about the Suarez/Evra racism allegations, despite being expressly ordered to keep quiet by the FA.
Ferguson said yesterday: “We have been asked by the FA not to say anything about the Evra situation and we have abided by that.
“I think Liverpool have been drip-feeding a lot of stuff out in the last couple of weeks. But at the end of the day, the FA will deal with that.
“I understand they want to protect their player. But we’re just abiding by the FA.”
After a (very) long investigation, the FA have finally issued disciplinary preceedings against Suarez over the allegations, and it is doubtful whether they would have gone ahead unless they thought they had enough evidence to prove racism. Dalglish may have cause to regret his unconditional support of the Uruguayan hitman….
