The Everton boss David Moyes was steamrolled into selling Mikel Arteta to Arsenal on the closing day of the transfer window, and now he is on the search for a similar type of player to bring to Goodison Park in January.
According to TalkSport Moyes has targetted the Argentinian midfielder Ever Banega who is currently out-of-favour at Valencia, and the player himself is now keen to move on in search of first team football.
The 23 year-old very nearly joined Everton a couple of years ago, but the deal fell through when there was difficulty obtaining a visa, but Moyes has followed his career ever since and believes that now is the time to make another attempt to take him to the Pemier League.

Banega has lost his place in the Argentina national side since being sidelined at Valencia, and knows that he will have to move on to regain his starting spot. A high-profile move to the Premier League could give him the chance to force himself back into the spotlight, although TalkSport think that Bayern Munich may rival Everton for Banega’s signature in January.
