The giant Blackburn defender Christopher Samba has been linked with Everton, Man City and West Ham, but refused to be drawn into commenting in this article on Sky Sports: Christopher Samba has refused to be drawn on speculation over his future after reports linked him with a move away from Blackburn.
The defender has been a consistent Premier League performer since joining Rovers from Hertha Berlin in January 2007.
But there has previously been speculation about a move to Manchester City, where the 25-year-old would be reunited with former Blackburn boss Mark Hughes.
Media stories in France have also suggested Samba could be a target for Everton and West Ham, who are worried about losing Joleon Lescott and Matthew Upson respectively.
Samba insists he is not dwelling too much on the transfer talk and will wait to see if anybody approaches Blackburn with a firm interest.
“I am still at Blackburn so I can’t comment,” he told skysports.com.
“Whoever wants me will need to talk to Blackburn Rovers and we will see.
“I have nothing to add. I am calm and waiting. I have had a great holiday.”
He had rave reports for his performances last season at Blackburn, and was even used as a striker at times. Do you think that Mark Hughes would want to take him to City along with all those superstars?
