Europa League remains important to Juventus

David Trezeguet has made it clear that Juventus value the Europa League highly and will go all out to win it, it is in fact the last possible silverware that Juve can get their hands on this season.

The Frenchman also reckons Juventus should be feared by everyone, for he believes the Old Lady can go all the way to win the Europa Cup title.

“It’s best that we win something this year, and seeing that the Europa League is all that’s left to us, we want to go all the way,

“We can do it on the condition that, with respect to Fulham, we remember that they knocked out the winners of the last edition of the UEFA Cup.

“The Europa League is an important competition for every one of us even if we expected to be playing in the Champions League during this period.

“The game won in Florence has given us an extra motivation. We are on the right track. Going forward in Europe can give us motivation for Serie A even if our objective at the start of the season is now beyond us.”

The Bianconeri are still fighting to grab the 4th spot in Serie A and so it is not the end of the world if they fall against Fulham but a club like Juventus will never be satisfied with just a 4th spot finish and no silverware.
