In an article in the Daily Express, it has been revealed that Chelsea are nearly ready to announce three signings. The report said: Former AC Milan coach Ancelotti has been learning English – and Chelsea’s top brass are learning Italian in a bid to make him feel at home when his three-year contract as their new manager starts today.
Ancelotti, 50, will not arrive in London until the weekend but he has been in Holland on an intensive English language course.
With the club confirming the signings of CSKA Moscow winger Yuri Zhirkov, Manchester City striker Daniel Sturridge and Middlesbrough goalkeeper Ross Turnbull in the next 24 hours, Ancelotti revealed Chelsea are doing all they can to help him master English before the start of the season.
But, he acknowledged, he is having trouble. “I made a bet with Drogba about whether I would learn English faster than he would learn Italian and I think he will win the bet,” said Ancelotti.
“Three Chelsea directors have also been learning Italian, maybe out of desperation.

Well,i think we’ve lost out the all the signings that we wanted,and i think its tuffer this season for us,as with the likes of man city who i’m sure will be in the top 4 with the spending they have done.its a shame we can’t have a permanant manager at chelsea like arsenal and man united and liverpool.and i think thats partly why we can’t get the players we want,and also ambrovich won’t pay the money for the players anyway,so it looks like we arn’t getting what we set out to get,i got a feeling man city will be above us this year with what they have, if they get eto’and tavez,along with the other signings then they are sure to be up with the 4 clubs without a doubt.

I think for this season these signings will do. We have zirkhov who can play left midfield, sturridge for future and turnbull to backup cech. We can now take upto 2 seasons to find some striker in the age group of 25-27 and then some more youth striker. This is because in another couple of seasons Drogba and anelka both might go or one of them might go. This will help to maintain the balance between youth and experience. After this it would be wise to take a look at the mid field as Lamps is nearing his age and Ballack might go out next season itself. So it would be wise to think of the future and and cheaper investments which would yield greater benifits.
All wat we need are players who will make our attack a goal scoring one…up blues

We should sign Ribery no matter what. Also Zhirkov, Sturridge, Turnball, Neuer, Sessagnon, Tevez, M.Richards (he looks to get back on form, young and English, Sneijder, De Rossi, Danny, Giovinco, Negredo (next torres), Balotelli and Zarate
We dont need the likes of Pirlo, Gattuso, A.Johnson (he is a weaklin and at 22 isnt exactly a youngster, Ibrahimovic (Drogba better on his day), Maicon (weve got Bosing,Manc,Ivan and Richards if we sign him).
Get rid of players like Deco, Kalou, Hilario, Fereira, Carvalho, Ballack(even though new deal, Minerio, Pizario and Sheva.
