Considering it is only October there seem to be an amazing amout of transfer rumours flying around at the moment, and quite a few of them seem to concern Arsenal players.
Not surprisingly, with the new players that Arsene Wenger has brought in, it would seem that both Marouane Chamakh and Andrei Arshavin are both going to find it even harder to get a game at the Emirates this season, and they have both been linked with moves away this morning.
Arsenal have just given Arshavin a pay-rise, but the word is that the super-rich Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala are going to make a money-no-object attempt to return him to his homeland. Anzhi have every intention of reaching the Champions League next season and will be buying up stars left, right and centre, and the talismanic Arshavin was always going to be a big draw if he returns to Russia.

Less obviously, but perhaps just as likely, is the news that the other newly-rich team, Paris St Germain, want Marouane Chamakh to return to France where he was such a success before he joined the Gunners. ESPN reckon that PSG have already made approaches to the striker, but Chamakh wants to wait and see if he is given another chance to prove himself at Arsenal before committing to a deal.
The Morrocan international started his career at the Emirates on a high, but he has come nowhere near that form since and may decide a move back to France is his only option.
There is certainly an exodus due at Arsenal after so many new arrivals, but the failure of Wenger to sell Arshavin, Almunia or Denilson this summer could mean he will be more than willing to let Arshavin and Chamakh go to help balance the books…….

13 players still to be sold as far as i am concerned.
