Cesc Fabregas set for Arsenal return against West Ham

While the Gunners may have landed maximum points against Hull, they made hard work of it. The Tigers were reduced to ten men for more than half the match, yet nearly managed a point against their title-chasing opponents. It could have been something to do with a certain midfielder missing in action for the visitors.

There’s no denying the importance of Cesc Fabregas to the Arsenal cause and it appears that the Spaniard is likely to return against West Ham next weekend. In a further boost to Arsenal’s title hopes, it appears that Tomas Rosicky is going to be back for the Gunners. While Arsene Wenger’s team have shown that they have psychological problems against Manchester United and Chelsea, they have the measure of every other team in the Premier League.

Last minute winners at Hull and Stoke do at least prove that this team has character in abundance, with the squad pulling together even more tightly following Aaron Ramsey’s horrific injury at the Britannia Stadium. Can Monsieur Wenger steer the team ahead of the behemoths that are Chelsea and Manchester United, proving his many critics wrong this season? They’re getting plenty of luck, especially with Sol Campbell fortunate to stay on the pitch last Saturday.

Wat abt van persie? We need him against toteham, the league belong to arsenal if we survive toteham

Would be nice to have Robyn back but I don`t think he would be of much benefit this late on, he`s not match fit and that, as we all know, takes weeks. Better he tunes up for next season.
If he were not so important I would suggest Cesc take a `rain check` against West Ham and have some reserve inpact for the Spurs game. Just keep winning, Man.United and Chelsea have to drop points somewhere and that`s the gate we need opened.

yes…van p…anybody with any update about him

That ‘certan missing midfielder’ was Alx Song Fabregas is fantastic and our best player by far but his replacemnts hold a higher class than Songs replacements meaning even against “eaker” teams we struggle more when Song is gone..

Sol Cambell deserved to stay on the pitch. Yes, he got a booking for the foul on Venigor of Hesselink, but rightly was given a yellow card because V of H did not have a clear shot on goal. His challenge in the 2nd half was perfectly fair, so there’s no reason at all why people should even consider the fact that he’s “lucky to have stayed on the pitch”. If you want to know about “luck”, it’s Man Utd being handed two points they should not have had during their match against Man Citeh based on Fergie time, and it’s the fact that Mick Cheating McCarthy just handed over 3 points to Man Utd by fielding a weakened team, and it’s the fact that fat sam allardyce will almost certainly hand over 3 points to the Mancs.
