Carlo Ancelotti ready to replace ‘wobbling’ Wenger

The ex-Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, who was sacked by Roman Abramovich at the end of last season, has admitted that he is keen to take on another top job in the Premier League. He thinks that Arsene Wenger’s place at the helm of Arsenal is in jeopardy at the moment, and he would also be interested in taking over at White Hart Lane if the Spurs manager Harry Redknapp gets the England job next summer.

He said: “It’s evident Wenger is wobbling and that within a few months Capello’s place with the national team will go to an Englishman and free up a place at a club.

“I have a strong will to remain in England. For a coach, this is the ideal country.

“But I would only consider top clubs including Tottenham and Liverpool.”

The question is; Do Arsenal fans think that he could do a better job than Wenger? He certainly didn’t get involved in the transfer dealings at Chelsea and seems happy to work with the tools he has at hand. Could he restore confidence in the Arsenal team?

Only one replacement need apply for Wenger (when HE decides to go) and that is ROY KEANE. Add his passion to Wenger’s flair and Arsenal will win win win for 3-4 years at least. Not unlike when Wenger took over at Arsenal and added his flair to a good team, however flair dominated everything and balance needs to be restored with some “win at any cost” determination and fear.

the guy cant get a job after the sack, what can he do for a team? anceloti is too ordinary in his approach to football and hence will not only fail at Arsenal but also land the team in a financial position that can drop it to lower division.

  • Maybe if Pep Guardiola leaves Barca he would be interested in Arsenal. Because the two team play a similar style of football. Just maybe. Actually Arsene only need s to be more accommodating. The problems plagueing this team is not incorrigable. They can be solved on the training ground. The only thing is for Wenger to lend a listening ear to comments and criticisms and act on them. Plain and simple. Good luck Arsene

Wenger is a good manager who can spot and nurture good talent but he must prioritize footballing success instead of financial aspects of the club.maybe he forget which managerial position he is in.pliz Wenger, you will only be judged on wins and not book balancing.for Ancelot,God forbid

ROY KEANE!!!!???? are you off your trolley?! as managers go, he’s one of the worst around! He spends way more on players than their worth http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/sunderland/article5281969.ece, Ships out anyone who he doesn’t get along with and releases players like they grow on trees! he nearly ruined Ipswich! selling their best players Owen Garvin (once scouted by Arsenal), Bruce, McAuley, Pablo Couñago and Jon Walters(now a big hit at STOKE) he was once the best player at Ipswich but Keano didn’t get along with him so shipped him. Thats not even covering the true scale of his transfers out! AND his rubbish vision for the footballing future of clubs, continously buying unheard of irish players Colin Healy – acquired from Cork City for example! he’s not AW for FS. At least our AW scouted first.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1345071/Roy-Keane–axed-Ipswich-boss.html The man to replace AW should he ever step down would have to be Owen Coyle. He has all the attributes of one day being a top top manager. he just needs some proper backing. He has shown in the past that Bolton can play
smooth flowing football, when he has the right players around him. Elmander was an inspiration under his mentorship as was Sturridge. Plus he also implaments a strong defensive side to his sides play. Its just a shame that Cahill is his only good DF. He’s the new Sir Alex in the making just wait and see!
