Bolton will sign Sean Davis today, and will up bid for Bodde

According to the Daily Mirror, Bolton Wanderers will sign the Portsmouth midfielder Sean Davis today, and are still interested in Ferrie Bodde.

The report said simply: Sean Davis will today complete his free transfer to Bolton from Portsmouth.

Davis (above), who was also wanted by Blackburn, turned down Pompey’s offer of a new deal and the midfielder will sign a threeyear contract with Wanderers.

Bolton boss Gary Megson is still keen on Swansea playmaker Ferrie Bodde, despite having a £2.5m bid rejected.

The Swans want £5m for Bodde and could fine him for missing the start of pre-season training this week.

It sounds like Bodde is trying to force Swansea to sell him. Could he be good for Bolton?
