The Turkish giants Besiktas have persuaded the Man United boss Alex Ferguson to let his Portugese striker flop Bebe return on loan for another season, and are now reportedly setting their sights on the Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
The big Dane has made it clear that he doesn’t want to be at the Emirates next season, but with a decidedly lack of offers arriving for Bendtner, it looks like the Turkish side might get a clear run at the Arsenal flop as well!
Bendtner still has three years left on his contract with the Gunners and The Mirror reckons that Besiktas are set to bid £12m, as they look for a big strong centre-forward to score 20 goals a season for them.

Bebe was bought by Man United for £7.4m just 12 months ago, but has only made a couple of appearances for the League Champions. It now seems that Ferguson has given up on making the giant striker into a United player and are hoping that Besiktas can get him scoring and decide to take him off his hands at a loss of £5m.
So is the Turkish League becoming a haven for failed Premiership strikers?

What a shame the writer has to be so disrespectful towards Bebe and Bentner and, implicitly, Besiktas. They played for one of the top 4 teams in the PL and Bentner plays for the Danish national team as well.
Its not a shame John. They are both flops. It’s just how it is.Maybe their careers will improve at different clubs
