The Man United striker Dimitar Berbatov has only got 12 months left on his Old Trafford contract, and has been linked with various clubs in the assumption that he would be sold this summer.
But the Bulgarian hitman is adamant that he will not be leaving the Premier League Champions, despite being relegated to the substitutes bench behind Chicharito.
“I have a contract for one more year and I will go nowhere,” Berbatov said.
“Now I am part of United’s 19th title and I want to be part of the 20th, that’s my plan.
“I am the happiest man in the team because I’m a champion and top goalscorer in the league.
“To win 19 titles is a fantastic achievement.
Another year at Old Trafford and Berbatov will probably be able to secure one last big pay day if he moves somewhere on a Bosman next summer. And good luck to him….
