Arsenal’s victory over Tottenham at the weekend has not frightened AZ Alkmaar fans it seems, in fact they have welcomed it reading some of their forums.
Some of the comments see the way that Arsenal are celebrating the win as a good thing, they feel it will lead to complacency and make Arsenal think they are better than what they really are.
They point to the fact that Tottenham had in fact matched Arsenal and until the now infamous 11 seconds of madness and believe that their team simply will not defend as poorly.
The over riding feeling on the AZ Alkmaar fans forums is that Arsenal were simply lucky to come up against such poor defending.
As far as the AZ Alkmaar fans are concerned, Tottenham gifted the game to Arsenal and that their team will not do the same.
Personally we think they are living in cloud cuckoo land.
Arsenal were far better than Tottenham in the second half and in fact had more clear cut chances in the first half to put Tottenham to sleep.
Arsenal were impressive and if the AZ Alkmaar fans want to think they have a chance of an upset then that is their right but come Wednesday morning we predict that will have been given a reality shock.
