Arsenal target Sebastian Giovinco will decide on his future sometime next week according to his agent Andrea D’Amico, who also expressed his disappointment in the fact Giovinco has not been giving enough playing time at his current side Juventus.
Arsenal of course are the main contenders to land the ‘Atomic Ant’ should he decide to leave Turin for more regular play, and Arsene Wenger is eagerly anticipating the player’s decision.
Talking to SportItalia, D’Amico said: “Giovinco has not had the continuity that other players have had. It is a shame that a player of his calibre is sacrificed because he does fit into the tactical choices of the squad.” before suggesting Wenger’s policy at The Emirates Stadium was the way to go: “I would rebuild the side using the youth system, but the coach has other ideas.”
D’Amico though ignored the Arsenal reported interest in his client stating: “The choice that Sebastian has to make is to have a big season at Bari on loan, and then return to Juventus, or to join an important project like Parma.”
Whether it was a true statement or just a maneuver to hide the player’s true intentions of signing for the Gunners is yet to be seen. In fact, we will know soon enough as D’Amico proclaimed: “The decision? I think it will be made by next week,”
