Arsenal facing internal mutiny with stars at breaking point.

Our daily round up of Spanish radio has brought to our attention another nugget that has a ring of truth to it.

It has been reported that some stars at Arsenal are demanding a showdown over the lack of ambition by the club as reflected in their transfer market dealings and insistence on a wage cap that is putting off any serious players being interested in joining the club.

It is hard to know were they get this story from but considering anything that gets reported in Spain about discontent at arsenal nearly always goes back to one source, ie, the club captain Cesc Fabregas it is hardly a surprise.

It is becoming clear that there is disharmony at the club, player after player seems to want to leave or at least is being linked with certain comments and from the lack of any success over the last few years it is no great shock that some people are beginning to question the wisdom of Arsene Wenger’s policies.

The next month and a half will be a pivotal time at Arsenal.

    source?

  2. omar says:

this is complete and utter bullshit, the media are trying to unsettle the club and its fans in anyway possible.

  3. GoonerJC says:

anyone who reads this – ignore it. one mention of the words “spanish media” and you might as well read “bullshit artists”. cesc has said too many times to mention here…he’s 100% dedicated to the future of arsenal, full stop.

  4. digger says:

Fxxk em, fxxk em all, if they want to leave then good fucking riddance, there’s been a football club playing under the name of Arsenal for more than a hundred years and will continue to be well after any money grabbing cxxt that’s there now is long dead and buried, maybe some of them need to take a look at themselves, I mean they are the ones on the pitch, if they’re not good enough to win anything then maybe they should fxxk off, I’d rather Wenger stuck out the Youth team all next season than fill the side with a bunch of whingeing bunch of toe rags.

  5. Steven says:

‘Arsenal Stars’?, ‘internal mutiny’?, ‘spanish radio’?Spin doctors at their best but still not earth-shaking enough…bring it on!To think we still have a month and half to go in this crazy season and its hotting up!What is the worst that can happen in reality?Fabregas will leave?Nonsense!Arsenal was great before him and other stars and will be even greater after they leave! The soap is at its crecendo…ENJOY IT WHILE LASTS!Arsenal forever!

  6. tom says:

what a load of bollocks! none of our big name players (except adebayor and maybe gallas) want to leave, and good riddance. Cesc and all the crucial players have pledged themselves to Arsenal so just stop these unfounded rumours and wait for the new season. Frig the media, GOOOOOOOOONERS!

  7. Kev says:

I don’t know what’s worse; these bullshit stories or the complete and utter fuckwits who believe there’s an ounce of truth in them. We have so many of these bell-ends “supporting” the Arsenal these days it’s getting embarrassing.

  8. Gunner2k9 says:

i completely agree with digger if they wanna fxcking leave they can c*ck off and be greedy b*stards but remember they were nothing before they joined us

ADEBAYOR was a f*cking average andy before he joined us (still not that apealling) but still he became way better when he was under wenger

FABREGAS he was a LITTLE BOY nothing more needs to be said.

  9. dj says:

the media suck, leave Arsenal alone

  10. Ibro says:

Guys come to think of it. Does our club really have that ambition to make substantive progress?! Today we’re linked with this guy, tomorrow is a different guy… And not all of them are classy players. A few years back we were challenging for honours in all competitions, but now we’re left to challenge for 4th place with the likes of a**hole villa, useless spurs, everton, and now Manchester ARAB! We’re no longer on the same level with Man U, ch€l$€a, liverpool… How much do the likes of Y. Toure, veloso, cana, hitzesperger, inler, huntelaar, melo, progryenbark, etc cost that we can’t afford to cash in? Yet, at the end of the transfer window, it’ll be another denilson, bischoff, ramsey or vela that’ll be signed and we’ll fill the media with “we’ve signed a promising youngster” when others on the same level with us are signing “super-stars.” i pray the likes of wolves and burnley beat us jst the way hull and stoke did.

  11. jonson says:

This article doesn’t deserve a response. But digger and gunner2k9 are either spurs in disguise or morons.

  12. harris says:

now a player(cesc fabregas) cant even voice his concerns about his club without being linked to other teams! now read this and i hope this issue dosent rise up in other blogs:”HE IS 100% DEDICATED TO ARSENAL ATLEAST FOR ANOTHER 4 YEARS”!!!!

  13. GunnerFishing says:

What tosh. Well done you got me with your headline. I have nothing better to do at the moment as wife is out with the girls. 5* headline. -5 information. Have you thought of a job in fleet street?

  14. THGooner says:

    absolute BS.Nothing else to say

  15. Caknucklehead says:

gotta love any so called piece of “journalism” that doesn’t have an author or even any “quotes,” yea, real piece of news here….wadda joke!

  16. Gunnerfull says:

This is utter bollocks, sounds like a mutiny within an army barracks….Arsenal ahs been there for more than a century, and will be there for an infinite number of years. If the tabloids have nothing to say, they should just zip up! Some of these stories cuase nausea or make me feel like vomiting…taking away my appetite to enjoy my lager this good Friday

  17. Edmund Simpson says:

Thank God I’ve got a proper job instead of having to sit at a computer, cull half-baked gossip and anecdotes from “genuine” news-gathering outlets, which by means of distortion and downright deceit, they concoct into some sort of story.
How do you guys feel about having to tell lies for a living? Is that what you tell your kids: “Oh I’m a professional conman and liar, son”.

  18. Rahul says:

You people won’t be happy unless you have totally unsettled the team. Right? When you win you are never question, when you don’t there’s always a horde of questions waiting at your doorstep. Sad that people can kill their heart to publish such articles despite knowing it’s not really the truth.

  19. aderemi kameel says:

Arsenal should release these players 4 heaven sake. They are not serious in recent years.Everything is not about making profit. It is affecting their fans emotionally. The likes of fabregas, rvp, adebayo should be allowed to leave before they spoilt thier carrier. No serious players want to come toa arsenal again because of their unseriousness in the transfer market.

  20. Brad Yellow Section says:

I have a Spanish student at the moment, and he is a knob!! Maybe his father works for the Spanish media.lol. If players want to leave then they should talk to the king AW and sort something out. I think Fab is top draw but i almost want him to go to Barca so he and Hleb can chat to each other while sat on the bench!! Quick stat, When Fab was injured last season we won more games then when he was in the side. mmmmmmm
