AC Milan are now laughing at Chelsea

Reports from Italy are that AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has laughed off suggestions that Chelsea have a chance of attracting Pato to Stamford Bridge.

It has been rumoured for a few weeks now that Chelsea were after the Brazilian youngster and AC Milan have continually denied that Pato is going anywhere but that has not stopped the speculation.

Now AC Milan are just laughing at the rumours, they have made it clear he is not going no matter what amount of money Chelsea offer.

But then we heard that before with another Brazilian called Kaka and look what happened there.

But that said it does look very unlikely that Pato will be going to Chelsea.

That will leave Chelsea along with the other top English clubs scrambling around to find any decent new players, almost all the top stars just don’t seem interested anymore in coming to the Premiership.

What’s the point of this article??? This has been AC Milan’s stance for the last 2/3 weeks regarding Pato. Is there nothing else to write about, since this is old old news!!

  2. pete borota says:

Quite simple, 50% tax, versus 25% tax in Spain with 6 year stay of exectution.

Means PL clubs costs are 25% higher and with Madrid willing to put themselves £800 million in debt, what alternative have the top 4 got but to turn away.

“almost all the top stars just don’t seem interested anymore in coming to the Premiership.” Really??? Why?? But isn’t the Premiership the BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD!!! Andy Grey sez it so it must be true.

  4. otu-baba says:

yea….they can laugh more than that!any football lover should’nt have forgotten what happened in kaka’s case.they were still laughing while the story had changed!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Semiu says:

Is like chelea has notin to do wit their time, everytime i will be waisting my money cheking if zhirkov and sturidge are finaly in chelsea yet everytin is still de same, instead i will hearing pato, is he de only gud striker in d world if u don’t ve anytin to do wit momey dash it to beger and stop making ac to laugh at u, am tired of dis pato stuff.

  6. ChelseaPilot says:

Semiu. Perhaps your opinion would be better understood if you could write in correct English. Your reading ability is not much better! To “laugh off” something is not the same as to “laugh at”. Did you bunk of school much then?

  7. Moses says:

ChelseaPilot it might be new to you but it may just be that Semiu is a second language English speaker! How many languages are you able to communicate clearly in despite glitches in your grammar(which Semiu does)? And since you are such a stickler, one does not bunk of school but rather bunks OFF! AND Semiu is not writing, he is TYPING. Furthermore, it is not Seimu’s reading ability which leaves a lot to be desired, the headline clearly states that Milan are laughing AT Chelsea. In any case, it would be Semiu’s comprehension skills rather than his ‘reading ability’ that would have let him down if he had made the mistake as you describe it in your post. . .

  8. joe says:

That is total quality Moses.I just love it when a pedant is put to the sword like that. Semiu is a Chelsea fan and I appreciate and understand his opinion. But in your case ”Fair play” for standing up for him..

  9. blumoon says:

    @Pilot – Owned by Moses

@Borota – you have the most valid point here – football is big business for the top clubs and players are managed according to t potential investments and career benefiting transfers.
Its why Henri went south rather than finishing his career at Arsenal; and why many like Ribery are interested to do so.
The PL is a much tougher league to play in. Players who are past it like Dedo are never going to fit in and are only really here for the increased wage before retiring to obscurity at a lower club elsewhere.

@Semiu – almost made it to the end of your point. IMO the more talk there is of Pato means the idea of getting him is still alive and I for one would be far more interested in investing in the likes of him with 10 yrs of football ahead of him than Pirlo or Ribery or any other such Deco-like gravy train robbers….

  10. Ordinaryman says:

Its like chelsea fc doesn’t want to move foward.I can’t imagine a reasonable man prizing pato more than 15 million pounds. He spoils the ball more often than not and the likes of lampard and ballack are not happy to see passes wasted like kalou does.It will be a big shame to chelsea if he comes and fails to perform like sheva. It is often said “fool me once, shame on you but fool me twice, shame on me”
    stamford bridge remains home.

  11. I think Chelsea should still press more for Pato cos time is on his side. Nice tackle on Moses by ChelseaPilot.

  12. yeah me says:

Ordinaryman it shows u know about u football dont u?? “He spoils the ball more often than not and the likes of lampard and ballack” thats precisely u chelsky problem u value players like ballack.. i have one thing to say to u, in 2 yrs time pato will be the best in the world!! remember this

  13. Marc says:

Everyone laughs at Chelsea, plastic club!
